Vocabulary Videos

One of the elements of this course is the production of a short video on one of the topics from modules 2 and 3. In the video, you have to present 10 vocabulary items from the wordlist on the chosen topic.

For example, you can decide to make a video on topic 'Education' and tell a story about your student life or how you get ready for your exams. If you use a word or expression from the wordlist in a sentence, include its definition in the next one or incorporate it into the same one.

e.g. I've always been a straight-A student, that is the one getting the best results in all examinations, so exams are quite a stressful period for me.

Although some tasks that require writing dozens of similar sentences might be really dull, I keep telling myself that practice makes perfect. We use the proverb 'practice makes perfect' to mean if you do something many times you will learn to do it very well.

The format of the video is up to you. You may film yourself or your friends or use other visuals and graphics. The duration of the video is around 2-3 minutes.
